Plants vs. Zombies Comes to Life!
PopCap Games, makers of the top-rated online game Plants vs. Zombies, have announced that they’re bringing the game to life in New York City for the annual Village Halloween Parade! The company is calling for fans to show up in costume to participate–presumably dressed as a plant or a zombie–and sponsoring a costume contest with undisclosed yet surely fabulous prizes. They’ve promised promotional merchandise giveaways to plants, zombies, and parade spectators alike. Sounds like a bright idea to me!
I wonder what sort of themed schwag they’re going to have at the parade…T-shirts and stickers are standard, but I’m hoping for something more creative and related to the game, like customized seed-packets or promotional candy in the shape of brains.
