Tetris Schwag
There’s a new promotional toy on the block and his name is Tetris Cube. This promotional product works like a Rubik’s Cube but plays its blocky computer brother Tetris, which is one of the most popular games of all-time.
The original creator, Alexey Pajitnov did not profit much from the game, despite the fact it was a worldwide phenomenon. Pajitnov created the game while living in 1980’s Soviet Russia. The Russian government owned the rights to the game due to communist laws. Unforunately, they sold the licesning to companies like Nintendo, and Pajitnov received small payments. After the dismantling of the Soviet Union and years of legal battle, the Russian state awarded Pajitnov the rights to the game. Pajitnov now a game developer who works with Microsoft and the XBOX 360.
So now that I’ve given a little background on Tetris, where’s the schwag? Everywhere, of course! In addition to the product above, there are dozens of promotional Tetris products, like custom T-shirts and custom desktop items. You just need to do a little digging.
